Brownstoner launches an awesome new service. From the site:

bk.ly is a crowd-sourced news site for Brooklyn, NY built upon the locally-branded url shortener bk.ly and locally-specific Twitter hashtag #bknews. Any tweet with either a bk.ly url or #bknews in it will show up in the tweet stream. bk,ly also tracks the most popular local links on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
