the ladies of new orleans
and now it’s christmas
I’m so excited for December. There’s nothing like the Christmas season in New York. Cold, snow, twinkle lights, Christmas trees, and wreaths. I can’t wait for sledding and hot chocolate and holiday parties. Ice skating too!

After months of a little bit of fixing at a time, the apartment is nearly complete. The bikes are up on the wall, and I couldn’t be more excited. A housewarming is definitely in order.

When we graduated from college, we had big plans for ourselves. I’m so proud of L.A.T.I. She’s turning her big plans into her big reality. Check out her first single “Spaceship.” Buy it on iTunes. Don’t forget to get the latest from her blog too.

Well, that’s what GD says anyway.
My last post marked my return from Mexico. That was on August 16. It’s now 2 months later. It doesn’t seem that long at all.
Since vacation I…started a new job, moved from south Brooklyn to north Brooklyn, began fall class at FIT, etc. I’ve been busy. I also just got Internet last week. (And it’s not even good internet!)
This is why I haven’t been blogging.
I have blogging plans, though. I have lots of plans swimming around upstairs. I keep saying, I’m genuinely excited for this winter because the cold is my good excuse to stay home and do all that stuff that gets put off on sunny days in NYC.
Overall, it’s been a good summer. Now, more than ever, I feel like I really belong in New York.

Though we had a great trip, MS and I are glad to be back in New York. Our favorite part of the vacation? Wearing finger shoes EVERYWHERE.
